When choosing a refurbed device, you can select between two battery options depending on availability:
Optimal: The existing battery still performs excellently and meets refurbed’s quality standards — no replacement needed, no extra environmental impact.
Unless otherwise specified, the batteries in our products retain at least 80% of their original capacity, 85% for our smartphones, or 90% for our Premium grade.
New: A new battery is installed by the seller, which ensures a completely new battery but involves additional resource use and emissions.
Both options are fully tested and offer reliable performance.
